Dick Allen, when he was known as Richie Allen of the Philadelphia Phillies, was in a bar fight here when it was called Bolton's Bar. There were two sides of the story, the barkeep Patrick Bolton saying Allen was drunk and demanded to be served, and Allen saying there were racial overtones involved.
