KKK Activity Here in Early Seventies (Richlieu Gardens)
There was reportedly Ku Klux Klan activity here in the early seventies, such as a cross burning, car burning, gunshot, and leaflet spreading. It might have been by three KKK members who lived in the complex, then known as Richelieu Garden Apartments. (You'll see both Richlieu and Richelieu in print.) See, for ex., https://archive.org/stream/ChurchOfTheNationalKnightsOfTheKuKluxKlan/1363925-0_-_Section_27_djvu.txt (do a find search for Richelieu); a PA business search of both Richlieu and Richelieu at https://www.corporations.pa.gov/search/corpsearch, as well as a search for County Commons; and various newspaper searches, for ex., https://www.newspapers.com/image/167872406/?terms=richlieu+apartments+bensalem.
