Best fifties' style burger joint in Bucks County? - Downtown Dogs
While enjoying the wonderful, throwback town of Quakertown today, my son and stopped in here. Very good food and service. My son loved the hot wings. I had the Weber (a cheesesteak hoagie) and it was very good. Nice family friendly vibe. Similar in feel to Goody'z in East Greenville, PA. We did not try the specialties of hot dogs and burgers, so we'll have to stop back sometime. ... As of today, at least, the Google map photo is a bit off the location. But when we got there we found out that Downtown Dogs has closed. I had to read the Facebook page carefully, to see that it closed a month ago. Doggone it! At least Stines is still open.
