This was a 100-stand, 3.4 acre merchandise market, similar to the Q-Mart in Quakertown, PA. It closed for other development in 1990 and burned down in 1991. I worked with a Philadelphia rock band in the mid-80s (the Plural Nouns) that got a gig at a tavern within this mart that wanted to try some live music as part of its entertainment draw, and when we got there it turned out to be a go-go bar. The predominantly male clientele quickly realized that when our band was playing the girls were not dancing, complained to management, and that was the end of that. I don't remember the name of the bar. I did meet someone who as a teenager collected hubcaps that accumulated near a bump on Route 309 in Colmar and sold them at an outdoor stand at the mart on weekends, and made some decent money doing it.
