Michael Smerconish's parents bought their first car at Reedman's in 1966.

"CNN anchor Michael Smerconish said, 'My parents’ first new car was a 1966 green Chevy Impala. My dad had $20 in his pocket when he bought it at Reedmans auto world…love this…I might ditch my Tesla!'” The quote is from https://fortune.com/2021/12/22/holiday-ride-chevrolet-chevy-christmas-ad-impala-gm-patriotism/, from an article about a Chevy ad that is getting a lot of attention. My parents bought their 1969 Plymouth Sport Satellite from what I believe was called the Reedman Auto Center. It carried almost every brand of car except Ford (I think it may have had sold Fords and Lincolns through associated companies at other locations), and I remember seeing oddball brands like Sunbeam there. See, for ex., https://www.ebay.com/itm/114364675985?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20200818143230%26meid%3D058b7dec7cec49778f209f9c4627dc53%26pid%3D101224%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D193239705962%26itm%3D114364675985%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DDefaultOrganicWeb&_trksid=p2047675.c101224.m-1 and https://www.gastongazette.com/story/special/2016/05/31/cars-we-remember-youngster-wants-to-be-part-of-collector-car-hobby/28402656007/. It still has a test track that was there in the sixties. I remember a time when my dad was testing a car on it, probably when he bought the Sport Satellite in 1969, and a brand new Corvette was on the sidelines waiting for us to clear off of it so  the Vette could speed through it.
