Oak Park, an Arts & Crafts Era Community Near Lansdale, PA

This is a very interesting Arts & Crafts era community on the border of Lansdale and Hatfield. See http://travelpenandpalate.com/2011/01/18/simplicity-and-maintenance-oak-park-historic-district/ -and- http://www.lansdalehistory.org/articles/20071129.LAN.LAN.33_0.pdf. It starts at the address above and faces W. Main Street for about a block. There are Mercer (of Doylestown) tiles on the posts at the gates, and unfortunately, people have been stealing them. According to one of the articles, some of the bungalows need major repairs.

Comments : It's a shame. Most of the Mercer tiles on the gate posts are gone.
