Comments : This home was featured in film clips from 1957 on Stories from the Road on the History channel last night. The accounts were both frightening and sad.

Comments : It was in the Jan. 9, 2019 Philadelphia Inquirer, at p. B7, that Samuel Snipes, the white lawyer who represented Daisy and Bill Myers and defended their home from an angry mob, died. The Myers arrival on Aug. 13, 1957, sparked weeks of unrest, the obituary says.
