Comments : There is a youtube video of a segment of Bruce Springsteen giving Matt Lauer a tour of Asbury Park, and Bruce said that bands that played the Convention Hall included the Who, Rolling Stones, and Janis Joplin, and that he and Patti (wife Patti Scialfa) saw the Doors there. They must have gone separately as it does not appear that they knew each other then. Springsteen himself has played the Convention Hall.
