I long heard that Phillies' slugger Dick Allen, when he was known as Richie Allen, lived in one of the smaller, lookalike houses in a row here at the corner of Wissahickon Avenue and W. Allen's Lane. An article in the Philadelphia Inquirer, 7/21/69, at p. 28, suggests that it was the corner house (which is 7150), see https://www.newspapers.com/image/179902958/?terms=%22richie%2Ballen%22%2Bwissahickon. Wait, I found confirmation that it was indeed 7150, in the Philadelphia Inquirer, 7/3/69 at p. 24, https://www.newspapers.com/image/179993395/?terms=%22richie%2Ballen%22%2Birs%2B%2435%2C000%2Btaxes.
