Worst Train Crash in American History, Nov. 1, 1918

On Nov. 1, 1918, the worst train / subway crash in American history occurred here, with about 100 riders killed and 250 injured. It was at the site of what was once called the Malbone Street Station, but most of Malbone Street no longer exists. For details, see the New York Times, 11-4-2018, at p. Metro 6.
