Although I was there for mini-brawls with the locals on other nights, I was not there for the epic battle. What I heard was that the Kensington locals did not like punks or anyone else coming into their neighborhood (or more likely, just needed a reason for a fight), and even grandmoms with bats went after the music fans. The online story gets into the brawl outside of a Black Flag concert, and another one that even had a homemade bomb outside of a Dead Kennedys show.
