Old Jail Once Occupied Suit Corner

A debtor's prison and a workhouse for prisoners were here in the early 1700s. It was also the Suit Corner store, until a fire in 2014. It is now under development, and excavators found two old brick arches underground. This information is from the Philadelphia Inquirer, 8/12/16, at pp. B1, 4.
