Fugitive Slaves Buried Here - Ft. Washington, PA

There are fugitive slaves buried in unmarked graves at the cemetery here, according to an article by Annette John-Hall in the Philadelphia Inquirer, 12/14/12, at p. B1. People are working to get an historical plaque for the site. The farmhouse for the original property before it was divided was a stop on the Underground Railroad, when it was the Atkinson Farm. The farmhouse is now the Upper Dublin School District Administration Building (see Cyber Plaque at 1580 Fort Washington Avenue).
