Comments : Yesterdays Philadelphia Inquirer, at p. A2, had a lengthy article on this burial ground. There is a problem with sinkholes and cave-ins, it said. It also said that there is a 180-year-old water main running beneath Queen Street past the cemetery at Lawrence Street, which would cause a big problem if it ruptured. (I used to hear that there were still some wooden water mains in Philly, but I dont know whether that is still true.)
